- Honestly, the internet feels overwhelming in its best and worst way. It’s like walking into a 24/7 market where half of it has something interesting and the other half is just unnecessarily loud and annoying.
- One thing I get from it; I have access to the raw facts of what people are thinking or talking about that can’t be found in any textbooks. It gives room for creativity. One thing it takes is my patience.., like I have to wait, scroll through all the noise before getting what I want.

- I think it feels like an entertainment and comfort zone at the same time
- It also gives me information and update about what’s going on in the world. It also takes my time for example….I recall a day i spent 5 hours straight on tiktok. I later realized how crazy that was…

- The internet right now is my unsafest place. It feels like a market place with everyone trying to shove information into your face, eyes and ears. It feels like a place where you can’t have control over your growth. Choky, crowds and so gloomy.The one thing the internet gives me right now is access to any information that I need.
- One thing it takes is my sanity, access to that much information, makes it feel so wrong. It’s excessively stimulating to have access to certain kinds of information. When you now have access to this information, it becomes so overwhelming that you can’t even use it. That’s my own opinion.

- The internet for me is a well, where you fetch either clean or dirty water. And this Well gives you the choice to fetch either the good or bad water.
- These days we don’t maximize the opportunities on the Internet. The Internet makes life easy in a way. I can easily run fact checks on the Internet when I try to raise a point. You can’t be told the wrong facts except you choose to be ignorant. The internet helps promote business. I can easily share information on different platforms about my business and it’ll easily get to my targeted audience. The effectiveness of using social media beats the traditional way of promoting businesses. And at the same time, when there’s a lack of discipline, the internet can be a huge distraction. The internet plays a big role in the development of young adults nowadays. Some of the so called influencers these young adults see as models have shaped their life either the positive way or negative way. Back in the days when there was very little access to the Internet, people had reasonable things they did at their leisure. But now, it’s easy to just enter a social media platform to keep yourself busy, and most times we are there watching content that adds close to zero value to us.

- To me the internet feels incredible homogenised in a lot of ways, especially in the context of what we consume in the advent of artificial intelligence, it is either some slop, or some person cosplaying as intelligent telling us that the rest are “anti intellectual”
- Cheap dopamine is what it gives, which works for a lot of times, but it takes attention, most times.

- The Internet at the moment feels like a whole lot for me at the moment. You know, the killings, the kidnappings, terrorists, our government and yeah good things happen on the internet too, but the not so good ones overshadow them almost immediately.
- The internet gives me informations, i see posts from my loved ones and I’m smiling and all but then it sometimes take the peace of thinking that “Nigeria is safe” most times ( very real, social media post )

- The internet feels like a place I live in but don’t always want to be. More like a compound where everything happens. Work, news, noise, people, and you can’t really step outside. It’s not like I choose to be this dependent on it, it just happened gradually and now here we are. We can’t do without it. It gives me an opportunity. I am a girleeee working remotely, I’ve worked with people I wouldn’t have imagined meeting and may never meet physically. The internet opened a door that geography wouldn’t have made possible.
- My ability to just be. To just breatheeeee.To sit somewhere and not feel the pull of a notification, a deadline, an unread message. Before it was easier to be able to stare at the ceiling and think my own thoughts. Now, even when I close my laptop and my body is in the room but my mind is still somewhere inside a browser tab. I think the internet is responsible for a large part of it. And the annoying thing is I can’t even log off for long because bills don’t log off either. You take time out, you’re out of the job 😅

- I just like the fact that it enables me to reach out to my loved ones easily; coupled with the fact that I get to learn stuff through the net when I’m not busy with other stuff.

- The internet for me right now has so many different uses. It’s like a place where I can escape reality. It’s also a place where I can get a lot of information, advice and first hand accounts from people so I don’t have to try certain things or so I feel secure enough to try certain others. It’s a place that makes me feel inspired sometimes and sad sometimes thinking of the future of humanity. It’s full of annoying ads that are very misleading, it’s full of AI ads now too that just look creepy. It tells you how you’re doing everything wrong without actually telling you how to do anything right, at least not without a price. It connects you with amazing people from around the world and with horny weirdos looking for attention or something more sinister. It feels necessary.
- It’s given me the ability to meet and communicate with amazing people around the world as well as make money without leaving my home. It’s taken countless hours of my life spent on meaningless scrolling going in to do one thing and leaving forgetting why I was even there. It’s also taken money from me as well, money spent to make money when in reality it just balances itself out to nothing, or I may even lose some.

- The internet to me makes me feel like a search machine in the aspect of exploring and getting valid information across the globe in order to practice some certain information and also having an advanced knowledge about it.
- The internet gives me advanced information in all aspects in order to seek knowledge or an understanding or something intense, something of deep insight. What the internet takes from me is my time because I get carried away with information and different algorithms. It also takes my finances in terms of subscriptions because you can’t get the full feature of something you really need except you pay. Outrageous amounts I tell ya!

- One good thing the internet does to me is that it makes me feel connected. I get to learn new things, discover ideas and all
- One bad thing it does to me is that it can become overwhelming. Too much information, too many opinions, and constantly comparing yourself to people online can quietly affect your peace of mind. I think the internet feels like both an escape and a trap sometimes. It can entertain you, and teach you, but it can also drain you without you even noticing.

- So exhausting. I feel like I can’t stay still for a long time without checking the internet and doom scrolling. I feel like my brain is being fried each time I open my socials. I even froze IG and Facebook last night, BTW. - The internet gives me access to endless information I need for my career, majorly. You can learn anything on the internet. But sometimes, it takes my raw creativity away from me.
